Heron Capital believes that by leveraging our relationships with entrepreneurs and venture colleagues in the life science industry, key institutional leaders and leading corporations, the Fund will take advantage of and invest in the most promising mid and later stage opportunities coming out of the private sector. Additionally, we expect that, through collaborative efforts with academia and researchers, and by working closely with the technology transfer, commercialization and incubation facilities within academia, promising early-stage life science companies formed around acquired or licensed university intellectual property can be identified and provide attractive returns to the Fund.
